What else should you do to appear in the media?
estebandido | 4 May 2009Read newspapers online has become part of daily routine in the middle of my coffee before heading out to college. I review several newspapers, both of Cuenca as Quito and Guayaquil, and well I think with this distance I can have a pretty good idea of what happens in my country.
Recently I was more aware than ever, especially in the sports, for news of the races of the Cruces Basin . For obvious reasons the local media coverage given to it, but national media truth nothing comes out, just for them traditional 3 races in this country do not exist, 45 years Las Cruces Circuit , Circuit 42 years Boroto Richard Child , and 11 years of race walking Luis Chocho .
I wonder what should make Cuenca to be shown on these national media?, Or do anything, if not in Quito or Guayaquil skills do not matter.
As an athlete I can say that when we learned of racing, is through "word of mouth" and if we see a competition in another province, is because they show the results of what had been the day before, on a small note lost in the paper.
Eye is not only events of this type, a few days ago was the same with Deportivo Cuenca. Although I am a fan of Cruz del Vado , which is in the second category, I was happy to know that the D. Basin achieved a historic step in the Libertadores, and for truth in media Basin was published this, but for the mass media both Quito and Guayaquil as tv, truth was no great feat, and it was as it happened, point.
Again I ask, is that just like bad news from the provinces to publish?, Is that perhaps rank next round of the liberators is not so great, or have a career for 45 years and have been the hotbed of the most great distance runners of the country is not enough?.
Both the D. Basin as the Circle Cross Vado are traditional clubs in the heart of Cuenca, and do great things not only for the city but across the country, or perhaps there is also jealousy and regionalism in the media? or just remember the Cuenca, when they become champions and win medals?
I sincerely hope not.

michel andrés | 4 May 2009Unfortunately we are in a country where the media base their task to "report" in the amount of money they can get their news, likewise there are several programs which unfortunately are clowns or fans who speak only of what interested ............. At this point it is worth asking: What happened with the aim of informing? ............. well I guess if we want the river crossings in scrambled the papers have to kill someone or incinerate the entire grandstand to get on TV a basin or if there is money to pay for us to take into account.
there are few media outlets that deserve to be called that way, it is true that require a monetary income to survive as a company, but I think in the country there are millions more inportant things to report news underside pink or red chronicle the Ecuador is more than that, some examples: the career of the river crossing, richard boroto race for children, launched the career of Luis pussy ................ and clear the Cuenquita

ELIZA M | 5 May 2009have every reason .... last ten years here that is needed is a good pair of legs, being gay or extecnocumbiera to be on TV ..... q is sad to know he pays more attention to the preferences sexules, divorces, marriages, new hair colors or similar nonsense of the "famous" q qa things really have merit as the sporting sphere q discussed in this blog or things important as art or achievements of our people for example. nothing has been talked about a 16-year Cuenca q was giving a speech at the UN speech was congratulated x q eminent international law ..... q is embarrassing spaces are of opinion people do not really have q decisions or training to give an opinion valid .... and even more unfortunate not even know q is given space to comment on issues of real importance ..... a few days ago I saw on national TV a panel discussion forum which had a lawyer, a psychologist, the representative of the community of people with alternative preferences and his staff of presenters including a homosexual rather arrogant an exuberant redhead who lives a half Brazil so of his life in Ecuador but not q slurred speech (I wonder xq is on tv) and a couple of guys but I do not understand the truth q porq were there, ah! and without leaving a warlock q leia in a snuff the future ... and all these people above was debating about transsexuality before someone called ana q and is now called alex .... and put in all the roll situations were unacknowledged children of divorce infidelity, relationships, both heterosexual homosexulaes did not matter as only care about the gossip as I felt about the matter repugana q q did not know the truth think!! on top that was in family hours .... I have a 6 year old daughter and I do not consider right turn on the tv and q is a discussion of the foregoing types ... now the tv is not a means of information is a means of poisoning ...! THIS IS ECUADOR?? THIS IS THE FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION?? x lucky aunqsea in this environment I can do notice my dissatisfaction about this phenomenon!

Hopefully this will change and that the poor "Martyrs" of information that when someone comes and says its true appeal to FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION who has served as a shield for any idiot that is in front of a camera with a microphone and say what that he pleases, fight for a more serious and fair means and capable of educating.
