40 years of concert on the roof
estebandido | 31 January 2009"I hope we Passed the Audition" (I hope we pass the audition) were the last words of John Lennon to name the Beatles , in their last live on the roof of the Apple offices a January 30, 1969.
This presentation was part of one of his most memorable albums "Let It Be", which took apart a movie in which they are practice sessions and recordings of the band.

Originally the album would be called "Get back" because they were trying to return to their roots of rock and roll, but in the end was called "Let It Be".
In the film we see the tension between the group, McCartney too demanding and trying to take the band forward, Ringo and Harrison together but despised at the same time, while Lennon with Yoko no matter what they did.
From what I've read about the band, the fact that Yoko entered the recording room cracked much relations between the quartet, as no wife or girlfriend before he was permitted to attend the recording sessions, including shots of the film we see Lennon and Yoko dancing one of the songs and clowning for a moment.
The songs that form part of the disc are:
- Two Of Us
- Dig A Pony
- Across The Universe
- I Me Mine
- Dig It
- Let It Be
- Maggie Mae
- I've Got A Feeling
- One After 909
- The Long and Winding Road
- For You Blue
- Get Backt
So memorable is this concert one of the chapters of the group Simpsons Be Sharps (The Sharps), parodying the Beatles, and end up on the roof of Moe singing his hit "Baby on Board" (baby on board) and Homer says in the end "I like to thank you on Behalf of the group and we hope we pass the audition".
