May God save us from Vista

This gives us the reason, once again, why use free software , because we can not be at the expense of a company change systems and we remain without support, or we are forced to have to buy a new computer, think if this happen with a system that manages a country's securities and the company owns the system decides not to give more support or simply does not give us the keys or access to the system, there is a clear example as happened in Venezuela .
In many cases, such as using my father's computer, no need to switch to a new operating system, but if he wanted to support would be forced to have to buy a new computer. By the way, my family only use Ubuntu .
Today, buying a desktop or laptop brand is conditioned to the operating system they imposed on us, marrow because I can not decide what I want and Software operating system, even if he wanted to have XP instead of Vista I am forced to buy with Vista.
So free software, gives us the freedom to choose the distribution that most suits us, without having to change at any time of computer, and above all have the satisfaction that I control my computer by 100%.
I hope that very soon and come to Ecuador computers DELL with Ubuntu .

see many users do, perhaps for lack of knowledge or simply because they buy so, but not it better if when you buy your laptop you could say what operating system you want, according to your needs. Watch as I used to programming in Java, Solaris servers and my machine was just Linux, I commented that because I very much agree with the fact that technology changes at those times I was very interested in MS development tools, but after An evaluation of development tools and I distinctly remember when I was in beta framework 1.0 did my first program in C # using notepad and compile in command line because there was still no IDE, but then onwards I can tell it was worth investing in these tools and that allowed me to be much more productive, at that time was net developer, to enter the world of MS that teimpo which used to investigate on how to configure a web server on Linux, and many other things (things that already existed) server I have a lot to explore other areas such as project management, business solutions, project management, processes, Life Cycle Management Applications, Portals, Business Intelligence. In order to have both good and bad, what is important is constructive criticism about what they are doing wrong and that is something that I reject a lot of Open Source people, do not have to be fans. Well I do not dwell more on the subject because it is not my intention to build controversial. The important thing about all this is that each person is free to select one platform or another.

If I read the post, as I said in earlier comments each system has good and bad, the important thing in this whole movement of comments are the titles and the way that makes it look bad on the other side, again and be critical not get carried away by fanaticism. Not bad to see the bad but the way they express it very much depends on point of view this is a constructive criticism or malicious.

I have used vista for a year and have never had anything to complain about since I've never had any problems with this OS The marketing of products will continue and progress in technology will not stop but continues its relentless march forward. And we will come here a few years seeing a new operating system Vista AVANNZADO AUN MAS as Microsoft's history has shown us in these last decades.
