ME AND MY SHADOW
Antonio Preciado
By the way,
if you left
I would just
and in the world would not have complete solitude.
I say this because I fear
you get to be tired as I am
or you may find
let's move into new depths
and then give you worst fear
henceforth
follow the race.
Back
you well know,
have a long way
you've been at me
as my constant companion,
you read my books,
have drunk my wine,
've eaten at my table;
In short,
have done many things about me
like this so do not know how to say
of spending my nights, evenings, nights
writing poems.
Sometimes it occurs to me
who may well live to like algotra life
for example, be white,
do different things,
listen to soothing music
dazed and not go to the sound of my drums
since you were small,
turn against me,
be anti-communist
or go on your own
when I, however, he was back;
but no,
if even in my bad times
always was,
thin,
compromised,
the side of my sins,
your loyal innocence.
Definitely
you are worth much more than what you weigh.
My shadow,
sopórtame,
never fail me not,
I am your body.
